eat fruitMost people skip this step as they think low carb diets are the key to losing weight. Carbohydrates are essential to our muscles and our brains. After a workout your body has burned mostly carbohydrates for energy as it is the easiest form of energy to metabolize. We need to replenish the glycogen stores of your muscles immediately after exercise.   Fruit is the easiest and healthiest option. Throw a banana (no bananas are NOT evil) in your gym bag. What could be easier? They even come in their own convenient serving size packaging.
